Greetings from the Founder of the National Diversity Council, Dennis Kennedy

Dennis Kennedy

As founder of the National Diversity Council, I would like to welcome you to the fourth quarter edition of the 2013 NDC Carolinas’ Newsletter. We are excited about our early 2104 and for our increasing presence and steady growth throughout the Carolinas.

In 2013, we held one Disability Summit, two Women in Leadership Symposiums, one LGBT & Allies Diversity Summit, and, most recently, From Boots to Suits. In 2014, we are planning events for not only Charlotte and Wilmington, but also Greenville and the Triangle. This will not only provide training to more people within the Carolinas, but double the number of events we’re planning for 2014. We’re also beginning to have smaller social events in Charlotte and the Triangle.

In the past year, we have also doubled the size of our Board of Directors and grown from 11 to a total of 20 Advisors. Snyder's-Lance Inc. joined us as a corporate partner and all previous partners are renewing for 2014.

We look forward to seeing you at these knowledge-laden events in the Carolinas, and furthering the creation of a diverse workforce and inclusive communities, where people from all walks of life will be able to share their fresh perspectives and viewpoints.

We hope you will join us for our upcoming events, become members of our organization (free), follow us on our Twitter and Facebook, as well as utilize our Tuesday webinars and wwww.diversityFIRSTjobs.com. For other events and to learn more about our organization please visit our website NDC-Carolinas.org. If you would like to join or organization or have questions, please send us an email. We are proud to continue to champion and raise awareness about diversity and inclusion in North and South Carolina - one person, one organization, and one community at a time.

Sincerely, Dennis Kennedy Founder & CEO National Diversity Council
